NEW: Colours of the World

– the new CD from Trombonisti Italiani and Steven Mead

It is a wonderful album of a collection of folk music from around the world and sure to be much in demand. 'Colours of the World' was recorded in the summer of 2006 at the new music school in the picturesque Austrian ski town of St.Johann. The idea of the project was to commission 13 new arrangements of famous folk music for euphonium and trombone quartet, from different arrangers. Some of it is wonderfully lyrical and a lot of it virtuosic. It represents music from the following countries: England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Austria, Norway, Russia, Japan, USA, Argentina, Mexico.
